Leo the Lop

It is no wonder that I love illustration. This was my introduction. Robin James showed me the fantasy that was living inside my head. These books are precious to me and while their stories are sweet, I remember them fondly for the illustrations. I fell in love with Leo, Squeakers, and Munchkin. As I am finding my voice, I realized today that it isn't in the cool retro art that has clean lines. No, my heart lies in the organic and colorful art that was the early eighties. Ruddy faces and saturated illustration. I am very much looking forward to implementing this more in my design.
